Kia Special Vehicle Division visited three partners, Thaco, Haeco and Tracomeco from February 17 to 27, to expand its business in Vietnam, including Bongo Derivatives, Bus (Grandbird) and KD. After checking conditions of the site, future sales plans and new enterprises were discussed. Recently, the Vietnamese economy has been growing rapidly, and Korean auto parts imports have increased significantly. Due to the long highway from north to south, the demand of buses is expected to increase. Various types of logistics services have recently been created. During this visit, the Special Vehicle Division discussed with Thaco about Bongo derivatives (2.5-ton extended chassis, 3.5-ton chassis, and refrigeration truck.) and commercial TY truck. Haeco and Tracomeco decided to continue to expand sales through the Grand Bird bear chassis KD business. |
